The cellar of the Nusserhof wine estate is located in the heart of the city but its cultivation areas are located in Piani di Bolzano and Costa di Sotto. Heinrich Mayr and his daughter Gloria have been working here according to strict procedures, which means: only with native and certified organic grape varieties since 1994.
The vines that are up to 80 years old (but at least 25 years old) lie on alluvial soil. Low yield. Aged in 20 hectoliter wooden barrels for 30 months. Then another 30 months of bottle storage.
